Community Movie Afternoon

In honor of Toy Story 5 hitting theaters June 19, we’ll be showing Toy Story on April 25!
This FREE family event will be held at the Claremore Community Center (2301 N Sioux Ave) in the gym from 1:00–3:00 PM.

Bring your own chairs and/or blankets to get comfy! Popcorn will be provided!

RSVP is not required to attend, but those who RSVP will receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win a Buzz Lightyear and Woody stuffed animal!

Bobber Bash Youth Fishing Tournament

Cost: $15
Enjoy a fun fishing tournament at Claremore Lake for youth ages 5-17! Parent/guardian supervision required.
​
Registration is not complete until both payment is received in full and the RSVP form is submitted.
​
Participant spots are limited and confirmed upon receipt of registration payment. Fishing kits and shirts will be distributed at event check-in only.
Supplies cannot be picked up before or after the event. Participants must be present to receive tournament materials.

Check-in: 8:30–9:00 AM
Fishing Time: 9:00–11:30 AM
Fish Check-In: By 11:30 AM
Awards Ceremony: 11:30 AM–12:00 PM
The first 27 registered participants will receive a starter fishing kit (rod, lures, bobbers, net, and 5-gallon bucket) at check-in.

Calling all creators, movers, and dreamers in Grades 4–6m(ages 10-12)! Are you ready for a summer week filled with color, culture, and connection? We are back for our fourth year, and our lineup is bigger and better than ever.

From finding your "zen" in yoga to exploring the rich traditions of Cherokee culture, there is something for every explorer. Whether you want to master the flow of watercolors, go bold with acrylics, or get your hands messy in sculpting, your masterpiece is waiting to be made.
Plus, choose your spotlight: will you take the stage in drama or find your grace in ballet?

5th Grade Day
May 11-13, 2026
Cost: FREE
The BLAST after school program offers a fun and engaging experience for junior high students (grades 6th–8th) at the Claremore Community Center. The facility includes a full-size gym and a rec room with a variety of games. We provide snacks daily and ensure your child has a safe space until pick-up.
5th Grade Day is a great way for students to experience what BLAST has to offer before they transition into middle school. Our goal is to help students feel excited and prepared for this next step by providing a supportive and engaging environment.

Creative Connections Day Camp
Every Weds & Thurs in June, 2026
Cost: FREE
This summer day camp is designed for youth who enjoy creative writing and want to build new friendships with peers who share similar interests. From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., participants will take part in engaging activities, including icebreaker games and creative writing prompts, along with a brief snack break.

For Rogers County youth ages 13-17.
